Healthy Creamy Chocolate Superfood Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 2 tsp maple syrup

  • 1 Tbs hemp seeds

  • 1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 Tbs almond butter (or other nut/seed butter)

  • 1 cup spinach loosely packed

  • 4 ice cubes

  • cocoa nibs for topping, if desired



DIRECTIONS

Make

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into glass and sprinkle with cacao nibs if desired.

  3. Enjoy!


Note: To turn this into a meal replacement, add your favorite protein powder (equivalent to 20-30 grams of protein.
